Hi
Enjoyed looking at your website. I acquired my first Doberman when I was 16, fell in love with the breed & have owned them ever since. My last girl passed at 10 1/2 yrs. from cancer. I'm just starting to look at breeder's websites & am particularly interested in the health/longevity of their dogs.

Barrie
as you know we have our 2 wonderful Hoytt Dobes, Rex and Maddie.
We have had Rex now for approximately 4-1/2 months and we've had Maddie for 1 month.
Rex is a most wonderful dog with a fantastic disposition and superb training to go along with it that no doubt have combined together to make him who he is. As I've told you multiple times he is the wonder of our home and our neighborhood. Truly a gentle, brilliant animal who continually amazes us
Maddie although newer to our household, is fitting is just perfectly into our family. There is no question of her excellent training and in spite of the fact that She is still literally a pup. She has all the attributes that we have come to expect from Hoytt Dobes since bringing home Rex. As well,Rex is definitely smitten and I know Maddie has added a new dimension to his life t
We are all are inseparable
Thanks so much for bringing us into the Hoytt family
Larry and Sherry

Our Hoytt Dobie, Denzel died last night of a heart attack. He was an exceptional dog, and we enjoyed living with him. He earned his CGC, was always welcomed at the Nursing Home that my Mother stayed in, even after she died. He was a gentleman that will not be forgotten. Thanks to Barrie Hoytt for the chance to own a very special canine.

Just wanted to give you an update on Wynston. As with my past Hoytt Dobermans, he is the talk of the neighborhood, people are amazed that he is so well mannered and handsome. If I am walking him, he greets people and enjoys their attention, however when he is in the back yard and sees something that he feels is out of place, he lets me know immediately. Wynston gets along with all his cousins (two curly coated retrievers and one golden) and is very very sweet, I have never owned a fawn, he is very cool looking. Thanks so much for another great one! :!cool:

Hi from Florida
W had 2 wonderful dobermans ( brother and sister) that passed 7 years ago and then went on to own a german shepherd rescue who passed this year.
We are ready for our next doberman and only heard great things about about Hoytts
Hope to hear from you soon and can't wait to get started

Admin reply: Can't imagine what it's like to be without a great Dobe sharing my life but I know at times our lives don't allow us to bring a new Dobe home immediately. Many may simply fear they will end up with everything they did not want in one package and even change breeds to either heighten or lessen expectation.

But do keep in mind whatever the breed you prefer, if you have great expectations go to the breeder who has built their own lines with experience counted in decades not years. Yep in Dobermans it's yours truly. I look forward to learning more about Suecof family.

My son expressed an interest in the Doberman breed. I am looking into the breed.

Admin reply: For those beginning to research the Doberman no site or group will give you as complete picture of what the breed as a companion has to offer in mind and body from puppyhood to adult as Hoytt.Com

Spend a few hours on our site then read up on the other breeds of canines taking your time about becoming a parent to a dog for this is almost a complex as raising a child.

Should you decide to be your own expert the time you've put into your research will give you advantages most dog owners did not have. Of course if you are already considering one of our Dobes do fill out the Client Profile introducing yourself and your expectation;we will get back to you as soon as possible. Good luck

Barrie Hoytt

Hi Barry, Wanted to let you know I lost my magnificent Kolby on January 2, 2015. He was 10 1/2. He acted like a puppy up to the end. I can't thank you enough for this wonderful animal/companion. He was such a gentleman, no excessive barking, walking by my side when on a leash, greeting people and their dogs with humor and dignity. (no jumping on them) Always alert to any danger to me, until I told him it was ok. My Animal Hospital was so impressed with him, they knew he was magnificent. People have offered ideas of where I can get another dobie ... they don't understand the beauty of a Hoytt Doberman nor the knowledge that is in the breeding. He was my second Hoytt Doberman, I don't know if there will be a third as I am older, but I sure want one. Kilby was just perfect in every way. :!cry:

Admin reply: For those who face each of the fears Ms. Parson's has presented, know that in the first week of September a handsome living memorial to her past loves named Wynston formally Hoytt's Distinguished Gentleman will gives his new mom her first Doberman kiss in nine months and begin to fill her life with the love and attention only a great Dobe can offer.

My dog Rocky is the most beautiful well behaved dog on the beach, and probably on the entire east coast. He is so smart , he goes everywhere with my husband and I. He is about 95 lbs and sleeps on his back with his feet sticking up. Sooo cute. Best dog in the world. Everyone in the community knows him and loves him. We got him from Barry in the summer of 2010. Thank you for the best dog in the world !

Admin reply: Thank you for being all you represented and for the compliments. In turn I add that without the loving responsible families who welcome my Dobes into their hearts and homes as you have done, the greatness of the Hoytt Dobes would have never been.

Now one favor please don't tell the Fraleys; they think their Fritz is the best http://www.hoytt.com/gbook/gbook.php?a=reply&num=3#
