About are breeding program -from the boss

.

When everything goes as planned we try to have our first placements each year born during the late summer or early winter months since most of North America is suffering from less than pleasant weather. For the fourth quarter of 2022 & the first half of 2023 we will present as planned the matched pairs who have or will be giving us "the next generation" that will be the foundation of The American Super Dobes and perhaps your new Hoytt Dobe.

Creating Life - Plus our medical protocols

I shall begin back to 1964...Yes many decades ago we offered the first assurances that promised to back each Hoytt Dobe with a Lifetime non-possessive Temperament Guarantee and a six month Health Guarantee against any of the primary health problems of the times including hip and elbow dysplasia - boy were we trashed by other Doberman breeders. Today "anonymous" would slam us every chance they could on the internet - like how can anyone guarantee natural accuracies? Well we were actually offering a form of investment protections with a reselection. How can we assure certain conditions will not surface? We can't but we can protect the purchasers initial investment in a Hoytt pup. Today with so many new viruses identified along with almost as many genetic variables as us humans face plus the so called super diets offered to dog owners without breed specific or cross breed research it takes a combination of knowledge and good old fashion luck. Over all, we as owners must do more then just feed what we can afford. The $4.00 meal for one dog may be a plus but for another may be a death sentence. Even in our human world, research say 50% of us will die from heart problems related to our diets.

So how do we choose their diets? A few can turn to the established specialty breeders for guidance and most questions can be answered. For others who just happened to find a pup from a family owned pair, best find a breed specific veterinarian or today one only has to punch up "dog diets" on the internet. But do remember to check the credentials of the writer before you accept a strangers word as gospel.

Now lets talk the Hoytt programs

1...Starting with the parents to be, first know we have not kept future breeders caged, kenneled, penned  or even pushed out as free dog in exchange for pups, male or female each new generation of canine parents are privately owned Hoytt Dobes purchased outright in almost all cases with no breeding demands. But for sure even Mr. Hoytt would not own his London, Caspian or "Q" if it were not for his clients who understand without their boy or girl there would be no Hoytt Dobes today. The client owned male is offered $500.00 to $1000.00 for his services* - success required. Our girls in fairness to their owners will be paid $100.00 a day beginning from her first born to day of the pups weaning or take advantage of a super arrangement - a trade agreement meaning we will select, finish medically and train their next Hoytt through Puppy Kindergarten & SP1 at no cost - higher training levels are optional. Also the owner of the producing female may wait a few years before taking advantage of this trade offer. Plus we remind the first timer to Hoytt that we also have a husband and wife driving team for pick ups and deliveries when the to-be-bred or soon to whelp female needs transportation to the Hoytts. Also for general services or emergencies our drivers are available.

2...just before the actual mating which takes place at the kennel under our supervision the soon to be mom will be given a 24 hour Holter Monitor to confirm heart health.

3...Since 50% of the dog world as well as the human world's diet is possibly the most problematic cause of heart problems, the to be mother will be put on our exclusive cardio health diet and our personal line of health boosting dietary supplements - actually it is a total health boost for the mother who may already be on our program under the branding Vita- Max & Pomaleen.

4...Of course we will also be doing a parasite check and also confirm the soon to be mom has been well inoculated for the multitude of viral problems. Also a Heart Worm check even though the Hoytt Dobes live the life of royalty; because they are. Just check out our monthly news letters to see for yourself. Also know the mothers will be passing on a wide range antibodies and know because we enjoy very responsible ownership we have not had a single Hoytt Dobe face any of the life altering or worse, death of a Hoytt Dobe due to inoculation failures because of both the inherent passing of viruses protections and the required yearly boosters. This is one of the major reason we can back the Hoytt Dobe until it's eighth birthday.

5... As each new virus surfaced over our sixty plus years serving the Doberman enthusiasts, the research world has given us preventatives which we further build on, our clients have literally not seen their Hoytt Dobes lost because of breaks in our immunization programs. Of course the client must keep the yearly veterinary health check-up and boosters up to date since knowledge of both genetics and medical protocols are guided by both veterinarians and the after placement client feed back. In turn it is this gained after placement information from our owners that allows us to offer eighth birthday life assurances as well as predicting what a pup will evolve into the years ahead.

To keep the eighth birthday life assurance program active...Send the Hoytts a copy of each veterinary visit within 30 days of said vet services to keep the re-selection eight year life assurance program active. Should your Hoytt Dobe pass before its eighth birthday from the viruses its been inoculated against before placement and the owners chosen veterinarians additional service suggestions after placement per our suggested protocol or the following four key genetically inducted life taking complications arise from Cancer, heart conditions, hip and shoulder dysplasia that causes incapacitation as long as the House of Hoytt has received via Registered Mail or confirmed receipt by email from House of Hoytt with the statements from the Hoytt Dobes current veterinarians. Follow these basic guidelines and you will be able to request a medically completed pup as soon as a new Hoytt Pup has been selected with the medical services as outlined in this presentation at no charge - this offering is limited to the pup and our presented medical completion services. Air shipping to you or asking for our "Door to door delivery" is optional.

Now lets talk about the new pups medical completion program

For those new to us, here's a look behind the scenes when one controls a private Line. Back in  2007 I had selected a pup for my son Heath, her name was Savvak from one of our oldest competition lines both Obedience and Conformation. Of course consideration for my daughter-in-law and my grandchildren were also the reason this young female was chosen. For my end, it was also the Blood Line history for a future generation..

tiki-bandit-two-resized-2.jpgtiki-bandit-2-resized-2.jpg

You may have seen Zephyr (out of Hersey) the ten year old from Colorado with the American flags present, the grand son of Sonny formally Hoytt's House of Rising Son CGC RN CD CDX TDI. Sonny was also the grand-sire of my boy Caspian shown with the next breeding pair introduction. However very special is  the granddaughter of an Ohio Dobe earlier mentioned named Hersey of course her formal name is Hoytts Sweet Talkin Woman CGC. In December of 2013 Hersey gave us a new generation and from that litter Hersey's people asked us select and finish a boy named Bandit, formally Hoytts Midnight Ryder CGC. Actually many clients have welcomed in one of their Hoytt girl's pups as their next number two which is extremely important for you and I. For really even yours truly would not have been enjoying my own personal Dobes for the last fifty something years if it were not for the folks who allow their Hoytt girls to spend six weeks here during their time as new moms.

Anyway this look at the past is to introduce the present, Bandit and his other half Tequila formally Hoytt's It's Five O'Clock Somewhere CGC. Maybe it will be these Hoytt Dobes that will be the parents of your next or first Hoytt Dobe.

Now Tequila is from another of our maintained older line Dobes and was placed into Bandit's family at nine months with the plan that at the right time Bandit and Tequila would bring in a new generation of Hoytt Dobes. And now the years of planning will reward those who also turn to our expertise in selection and services before placement. These Hoytt Dobes presented on this page give you a look at how a breeder can create and maintain a private Line. I have additionally followed the photos below with Tequila's mother because I could. And I do like to show off the cool Hoytt Dobes.

Now meet Minda and Caspian the parents of our second canine pair who will bring love, smiles and protection to a few families in 2021 and for the many years that follow.

This 'pretty' from a family of earlier competition winners reached the exclusive Doberman Pinscher Club of America Top20 for 2020

minda-formal-033.jpg

Minda was selected at five weeks of age for Tim Belue of Charleston SC yep an established client knowing he wanted another great Hoytt Dobe educated before placement but this time to pursue an added goal besides a great companion. To see his girl reach T20 statis. It is with great honor that Tim requested our own Carol Stephens to train and show Minda. With correctness and steadiness in the ring, this team achieved that goal. Minda is a sweet, loveable girl who more than anything, loves laying on her back in her daddy’s lap. Thanks to the DPCA for awarding their prestigious T20 recognition to Hoytt's Brilliant Star CD BN CGC T20

Now here's Minda's other half - Caspian formally  Hoytt's Defender of Honor BN CD TDI CGC otherwise known as 'daddy's boy who has been patiently waiting for a promised third lady. Yep Caspian may be three and the canine master at HOH but it's been about two years since his gene pool best fit a future generation. For those new to us we do not kennel raise our females to have pups, each are privately owned. With the exception of Mr. Hoytt's personal Dobes and staff Dobes the oldest in residence here are usually Grand Victors in development or client Dobes here for a holiday.
